We help to assist our clients in gaining transparency on their clients´ assets. All our services are modular, highly scalable and multi-platform.
Based on actual account statements and supplementary electronic communication, we can help you to reconcile actual costs charged by third parties with the contractual agreed pricing scheme. We can even address specific questions such as VAT charges cross-border.
In all cases where the actual management of portfolios held by the Insurance Companies is outsourced to third parties, there is a need for controlling the investment compliance. We check the actual asset allocations versus the risk profiles and investment strategies, and we create action reports for all cases where there is a mismatch exceeding the defined range of tolerance.
As for the regulatory reporting, this tool aims to provide transparency on the actual investment strategy. We deliver analysis upon the individual (portfolio level) performance as well as the performance on a consolidated basis. By default, we consolidate the portfolios on a manager level and on bank level.
We identify, based on actual account statements and supplementary electronic documentation, whether there are unjustified withholdings of taxes (e.g. for US securities or on the basis of relief-at-source services conducted by banks). Where possible, we will propose to you actions to mitigate these risks.

About Us
Furado was established in 2013 in Switzerland and has grown significantly since then. We meanwhile maintain operations (directly or through partnerships) in Luxembourg, Germany, Spain and Italy. All Development, IT and Data Science is solely performed in Switzerland. Our services are regulatory and GDPR compliant.

Thomas has a 20+ years experience in the financial services industry. He held numerous management positions at large Swiss banks. Thomas is responsible for strategy, product development and customer management.
Jürgen Bewernick
Jürgen worked in both investment banking and wealth management in renown international banks and he has a vast experience in managing complex organisations. Jürgen is responsible for all Finance and Organizational matters as well as International and Insurance Solutions.
Walter Burkhard
Walter has been a senior software engineer for more than three decades, engaging with the largest Swiss banks. He developed our proprietary IT solution and his responsibility spans all IT and development matters including relationship management to our IT partners.
